A small, independent library of business and marketing calculators built around one idea: a calculator should show its work.
What we build
CalcMetrio publishes single-purpose calculators for the arithmetic behind everyday commercial decisions — pricing a product, judging a campaign, sizing a project. Each tool covers one calculation, states the formula it uses, and includes a worked example you can follow by hand. If a page cannot explain its own result, it is not finished.
How we work
Formulas come from standard business, accounting and marketing definitions rather than from a single source, because terms such as “margin” and “return” are used differently across industries. Where a definition is genuinely contested, we say so on the page instead of picking one silently. Every calculation is tested against manual examples, including edge cases such as zero costs, negative results, decimals and very large values.
What we deliberately avoid
- Accounts, sign-ups and email capture — the tools work immediately for anyone.
- Sending your figures to a server when the calculation can run in your browser instead.
- Invented credibility signals. You will not find fabricated review scores, user counts or awards anywhere on this site.
- Ad placements that interrupt the path from entering numbers to reading a result.
Independence and funding
The site is intended to be supported by clearly labelled advertising so the calculators can stay free. Google AdSense publisher code may be present during publisher review even before ads are displayed. Advertising is kept separate from calculator content and never influences which formula a page uses or how a result is presented.
